Document Check
This involves a barrister or a solicitor reviewing the prosecution's case against you to ensure there are no legal reasons why it cannot proceed against you or why you have a valid defence. It is very often the case in Driving Law matters that you are looking for some assurances that the prosecution actually have a case against you and that there isn't some procedure that they have missed that you might be able to explore as part of your defence. Often this involves the timing of the summons or laying of the information; the reading of your level of alcohol; or the manner in which you were recorded as having driven too fast.
